Shipping policy
At Modern Stitch Co, we strive to provide excellent customer service. We will do our best to have all orders processed and shipped within 1-3 business days. In order to be able to keep shipping as simple as possible we offer flat rate shipping for all Canadian and US customers. Please note, Modern Stitch Co. does not make any profit on shipping. We simply charge all customers the average shipping amount as calculated based on the past 6 months of shipping data. You will receive an email notification once your order has been shipped.
🇨🇦 SHIPPING WITHIN CANADA:
All orders shipping to a Canadian address will be shipped expedited parcel via courier - Canada Post, UPS, or Purolator. Estimated delivery is 2-7 business days for most addresses (remote locations may experience longer wait times).
-FREE Shipping on orders greater than $175.00 CAD after discounts and before taxes
-Orders less than $175.00 CAD after discounts and before taxes will be charged a flat rate shipping fee of $12.95 CAD.
🇺🇸 SHIPPING TO THE U.S.A.:
To our valued US customers - we love that you shop with us, and we are happy to continue shipping your orders. Please note our current shipping practices as they relate to US based customers.
- A note on Customs, Duties and Import Fees: US orders ship DDP (Duties Pre-Paid). Any applicable duties and tariffs are calculated and collected at checkout, so you should not have to pay duties upon delivery. A telephone number is required at checkout for DDP shipping.
Any additional customs or import fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
US orders typically arrive within 10–15 days, excluding customs delays. Modern Stitch Co is not responsible for packages that are delayed or lost once in transit.

🤝 IN-PERSON PICKUP:
For all our customers local to the Ottawa area, we offer free in-person pickup. Simply select Pick Up as your delivery method at checkout. Orders typically take 24 hours to pick and pack. As part of the in-person pickup process we currently ask that you book a time for a pickup on either a Saturday or Sunday via a scheduling link in our in-person checkout process. 🌏 INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (Outside of Canada & U.S.A.):

Please note that Modern Stitch Co. does not take any responsibility for lost or stolen parcels. We will happily provide any information that we have in regards to your parcel.
