Introducing Embers & Stars, a Modern Stitch Co. fabric remix inspired by the Luminescent quilt design by Ariga Wilson fro Robert Kaufman.

We’ve created our own colourway for this striking star-inspired design using a carefully curated collection of Ruby Star Society metallic fabrics. Rich, glowing colours combine with shimmering metallic details to create a quilt that feels like embers glowing beneath a star-filled night sky.

Every fabric selected for this collection features a metallic print, so this quilt doesn’t just dazzle because of its striking design — it literally sparkles when the light catches it. ✨

What’s Included

How the Embers & Stars Remix Works

Embers & Stars is a Modern Stitch Co. fabric remix designed to be used with the original Luminescent quilt pattern by Ariga Wilson.

The kit provides the fabric needed to create the Embers & Stars colourway. The original Luminescent pattern is not included with this kit and must be obtained separately.

Simply follow the original pattern's instructions and use the Embers & Stars fabric substitution list to determine which fabric from your kit to use for each fabric requirement.

There’s no alternate pattern to learn — you’re using the original pattern instructions while giving the design an entirely new colour story.

The result is a rich, dramatic palette of Ruby Star Society metallic fabrics, transforming the look of the original design into something that feels warm, fiery and wonderfully luminous.

Pattern Information

The original Luminescent quilt pattern is not included with this kit.

The Embers & Stars substitution list is intended to be used alongside the original pattern and does not reproduce or replace the original pattern instructions.

Please Note

This kit contains fabric for the quilt top only. Backing fabric, binding fabric and batting are not included.

The finished quilt size will be approximately the size specified in the original Luminescent pattern when made according to its instructions.
